Lesson 2: All About Feelings
Research shows that children who are able to verbalize their feelings are less likely to resort to physical aggression. This lesson teaches students to recognize their anger and to express it honestly and assertively in a non-threatening way.
The student will be able to:
Name a variety of feelings.
Describe physical sensations to anger as warning signs of conflict.
Recite I-messages as a way to express feelings with honesty and self-control.
